For all employees – both studio staff and in our ventures – we use a profit-sharing mechanism we call the “Talent Profit Pool” and issue substantial equity positions that vest over the long-term. The result is all our people are intensely focused on immediate organizational performance in ways that drive long-term value and minimize early costs. The combination of that unique, inertia-overcoming compensation structure with a seasoned studio staff and launch process has created a value-generation machine with our principle of widespread ownership at the heart.
